Maono AU-HD300T Microphone Review
Maono AU-HD300T is the XLR/USB Dynamic Desktop Microphone. By the name itself, you would have understood that the microphone has the dual connectivity of XLR and USB. It is the dynamic microphone that you can even guess by the look of the microphone itself and it is purposefully made as to the Desktop microphone for content creators.
If I have to niche it down then I will say, Maono AU-HD300T microphone is the best budget-friendly microphone for those who are just starting out in content creation, live streaming, YouTube, voiceovers, etc.
This microphone has the cardioid polar pattern which captures the sound only from the front side of the microphone. That makes it reduce unwanted sound from all the other sides of the microphone. The microphone is quite decent in terms of noise cancellation.
I have used this microphone to make some voiceovers, YouTube videos, live streaming, discord, zoom meetings, etc. The microphone is perfect for individuals. The microphone sounds really cool when capturing ASMR. I am planning to make some ASMR audio and will upload the sample here.
Features of Maono AU-HD300T Microphone
Here are some of the core features of the microphone that I liked.
Classical Look and decent build quality
The microphone has the classical microphone look like every other dynamic microphone that you can find in the market. The built quality of the microphone, not that premium or great it is quite decent in the budget pricing that you are paying for.
The microphone is reliable and quite flexible to use as well.
AU-HD300T microphone has the dual connectivity of XLR and USB. It is much convenient and easy to set up your microphone. I always use the USB connectivity to my laptop as that’s much easier and does not need any extra cable other than my normal USB cable.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The microphone has the cardioid polar pattern which makes it capture sound only from the front side of the microphone and reject all the unwanted sound from other sides of the microphone.
That makes the noise cancellation of the microphone much better. Here’s the Polar Pattern Chart of Maono AU-HD300T Microphone.
Control on the microphone
You get the microphone to turn the on-off button on the microphone itself. You can easily switch on or off the microphone from the microphone itself without doing anything in your system.
You also get the volume up and down button to control the system volume while recording. With more controls, you get more can have control over how you want your microphone to sound.
This is what I am excited about. I have already tested some audio for ASMR and it works great. I am soon going to record some ASMR audio. The microphone is much better ready to capture ASMR audio.
